The Gulf Seafood Institute has added Sysco Corporation to its list of founding members, providing additional support to the organization’s goals of harvesting and distributing the highest-quality and most-sustainable seafood catch from the Gulf of Mexico for the benefit of all consumers.
They say the camera adds a few pounds, but friends of Galveston fisherman Buddy Guindon have been tormenting him recently with the question “how many cameras did they use?” Guidon is the star of a recent H-E-B grocery store’s “Fresh from the Seafood Department” commercial filmed on his boat.
Buddy Guindon looks like a typical Gulf fisherman. His long white straggly beard, shorts and worn t-shirt looks like they were scripted for a TV reality series – and actually they were.
